The Labyrinth Institute houses several common areas for not only the scientists that run amok within it, but the Vox as well. One of these such rooms Olive tends to use as an almost-classroom. It’s like her own little café, and she has treats brought to her as well. (Of course, it is only her that eats them.)
Do the Vox know of the Classics in literature? Do they understand pop culture, that which is a currency by today’s standards? Surprisingly, yes.
The Vox possess an encyclopedic knowledge within their memory stores, connected directly to the worldwide network that we all know and love. But do they truly understand why these are “classics”? Do they know why thousands of years later, we still pass on the story of Achilles’ unbreakable and wrongful pride and the way it directly caused his most precious companion’s death?
Olive works directly with the Vox to teach these lessons. The Vox will go out in the world just as cultured as you or I, as some of you have expressed worry over.
Business inquiries, questions, comments, or looking for employment within the Labyrinth Institute? We are always accepting applications, and we would love all the help we can get.
