Hello! As this is our first post on this shiny new blog, I thought it prudent to introduce myself! I am Timothy, an intern here at Labyrinth Institute, hired by the great Gideon Daemalion himself. I’ve been assigned the important job of reporting worthwhile research logs to the public. I hope that if you are reading this, you are just as excited for our Vox as we are.

To start off, we’ll be going over the type of skin that our Vox are outfitted with. Universally it was thought that a type of silicone would be best for our Vox, as it is not only waterproof like our own skin, but smooth and stretchy, as well as relatively sanitary. Luckily, we are able to cover the Vox almost entirely in this silicone and can boil and/or replace the silicone if need be—it is a relatively cheap material besides.
Cost comes in when we factor in the touch-sensitive receptors placed just beneath and sometimes within that silicone.
It is dangerous for a human not be receptive to pain or temperature; some who are unreceptive sustain heavy injuries in their early years and some may even die a premature death. In this way, we decided to outfit our Vox with the five senses. These can, if need be, either be turned off or not installed at all.
Business inquiries, questions, comments, or looking for employment within the Labyrinth Institute? We are always accepting applications, and we would love all the help we can get.
